Beautiful Wreck of the World

From 1983 -- and I haven't really researched its provenance beyond that -- please enjoy Keith (He'll Outlive the Cockroaches) Richards and the amazing Jerry Lee Lewis and an astounding live version of Chuck Berry's venerable "Little Queenie."

It's pretty much a mess, but hey -- rock 'n' roll.

Good stuff.

The Killer's Star Club album remains just about the best piece of live work to date.

I don't disagree with your assessment of that JLL live album.

Is that Mick Fleetwood on the drums?

It certainly is.

Best served loose but never sloppy. Messy, dirty, unbound...I like it.

It's from a JLL TV tribute special hosted by Dick Clark called "Salute." Believe it or not, the show also featured Gary Busey singing lead vox on "High School Confidential." Nothing but the biggest stars in the firmament:-)

VR - agree on JLL Star-Club LP w/ Nashville Teens backing. But it isn't the kind of thing you wanna play over and over. For that you need to whip your Ya-Ya's out.
